The Ultimaker S5 Pro printer is a fully automatic dual-head desktop 3D printer for rapid prototyping of complex geometry 3D objects in thermoplastic material based on Fused filament fabrication (FFF) technology. With automatic material handling, efficient air filtering, and filament humidity control, the Ultimaker S5 Pro can print complex objects in a wide range of materials. Dual head 3D printing improves support printing with soluble supports such as HiPS and PVA, as well as letting you print multi-colour or multi-material parts.

The machine performs printing of complex 3D shape objects in a quick and cost-effective way without the use of expensive tooling required in subtractive methods. The 3D printer can be used to test out product ideas, make complicated parts for assemblies and mechanical holders. Because of good electrical and mechanical properties of printed thermoplastics the prototype can also served as electronic package and housing for electronic systems.
